Getting Involved

Membership in Caring Canines Therapy Dogs, Inc. is open to all. The minimum age requirement is age 16. All dogs must be at least one year of age and current on all vaccinations, specifically rabies, distempter and bordetella. A Veterinarian signed health release is required.

The certification process begins with an initial meeting with one of our staff Tester/Observers. A  test will be given to evaluate dog and handler as a team. A minimum of three separate visitations wil be made to medical facilites so our Tester/Observer can observe the dog and handler .
